The year 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of Antoni Gaudí’s death, and the Sagrada Familia ‘s construction board is commemorating the date with a 50% discount on ticket prices for Barcelona residents during the coming year, in order to make them part of the celebrations in the year in which the construction of the Jesus Tower will also be completed, at last.
In just a few days, with the beginning of the year, the people of Barcelona will be able to return (or go for the first time, for those who have postponed the visit) to enter the basilica, paying around 13 euros per person (in the most basic adult ticket), instead of the 26 euros they have been paying until now.
The types of tickets that will benefit from the reduction will be the basic visit and the guided tour, with or without access to the towers of the tallest church in the world.
Ticket purchase: by email and with proof of residence.

The purchase of discounted tickets can not be made through the usual website. People living in Barcelona will have to request their access by email to the address residents@ext.sagradafamilia.org and attaching a document proving their residence, such as ID card or municipal census. This document will also have to be shown at the access to the basilica on the day of the visit.
Each person may request up to a maximum of 9 tickets per application, and all accompanying persons must be residents of Barcelona.
The tickets will be nominative and non-transferable, and the discount for residents can be used any day (depending on the availability of tickets) from January 1 to December 31, 2026.
