From now on, music will be a fixed companion for metro passengers. The Fundació TMB and the Maria Canals International Piano Competition have decided to keep permanently the wall piano installed at the Diagonal station on L5, after a successful pilot test that began in March.
For three months, the piano has been played regularly by amateurs, always in a civic manner, creating a positive atmosphere and becoming a musical meeting point in one of the busiest stations in the city.
The initiative, which seeks to bring music to all users and improve the travel experience, will now continue as a stable part of the metro network, offering a small daily musical oasis in the middle of Diagonal.
