The Museu Picasso in Barcelona opens free of charge to Barcelona. In a change of ticket policy that began the summer of 2024, the museum will be free admission on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 19 and 21 h. without prior reservation.
During these hours it will be possible to access the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, and free guided tours in Catalan will also be offered from 7 pm. To book tickets, please go to the museum’s website.
The initiative is part of the renewal of the museum’s opening hours for the summer season, which seeks to be accompanied by actions and activities related “with the aim of making the museum closer to the local public”.
In addition to the aforementioned schedules , on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the museum will open at 9 am and close doors at 8 pm. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, it will close at 9 pm.
