Primavera Sound brings its particular Christmas present to the fans of the festival in Barcelona: its line-up for its 2024 edition. The 22nd edition of the festival brings back the format of a weekend based in Barcelona, although in any case the musical proposal is once again overflowing, with 150 bands on the bill.
The festival, which recovers its weekend format in Barcelona, will celebrate its central days from May 30 to June 1 at the Parc del Fòrum. Phoenix will perform on the free day on Wednesday, May 29 and the Brunch Electronik party will put the finishing touch on Sunday, June 2.
Ticket sales will open on November 23rd at 11:00 CET, but registration is already available on the Primavera Sound website until November 22nd at 23:59h C. The full line-up is now available on the festival website.

Headliners and timetables for each day
The lineup of this edition of Primavera Sound puts us again in front of a commitment to parity(42’36% of women, 42’36% of men and 15’28% of mixed projects), a hallmark of identity of the festival since the historic edition of 2019, which for the first time balanced the gender percentages.
For example, : Lana del Rey and SZA will headline Primavera Sound 2024 on merit. The former, definitively established as the great chronicler of American music of this century; the latter, a generational talent that has overflowed the limits of R&B, will offer her first show in Spain, and Hanna and her band, Bikini Kill, will also be at Primavera Sound 2024 to continue showing us the way.
The Primavera Sound schedules can be consulted on their website, and we recommend doing so in order not to go crazy in a massive lineup and avoid possible overlaps.
Even so, we will tell you some of the headliners of each day so that, at least, you can get some light.
-
- Thursday: Vampire Weekend, Justice, Beth Gibbons, Pulp, Deftones, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, Peggy Gou. Billy Woods.
-
- Friday: Lana del Rey, Ferran Palau, The National, Disclosure, Yo la Tengo
-
- Saturday: PJ Harvey, SZA, Mitski, The Lemon Twigs, Charli XCX
-
- Sunday, June 2 (Brunch Electronik): The festival will conclude with a daytime event on the beach, in collaboration with Brunch Electronik, with DJ’s and electronic music. Access to this event also requires reservations as it is subject to capacity.
La Zowi, Lemon Twigs, Channel One, Lisabö… other big names of the festival
Primavera Sound 2024 will bring together sounds of all kinds and conditions, from here and there. From the vintage pop of The Lemon Twigs or the extreme black metal of Wiegedood to the expansive jazz of BADBADNOTGOOD or the reggaeton with memory of DJ Playero, passing through the indefatigable post-hardcore of Lisabö, the hip-hop against the current of billy woods and the Jamaican dance of Channel One.
The nostalgia for the future of A. G. Cook and the revision of the past of Ángeles, Víctor, Gloria & Javier, the primal instincts of La Zowi and the cerebral precision of Monolake, the conscientious, chirigotero fun of F .R.A.C and the solemnity of American Football, the excesses of Arca and the austerity of Jessica Pratt, the hubbub of The Armed and the stillness of Nala Sinephro, the shenanigans of YOVNGCHIMI and the distinction of Peggy Gou, the brillibrilli of Hannah Diamond and the darkness of Chelsea Wolfe. You’re not supposed to have everything in this life, but maybe you have to start rethinking it with this lineup in front of you.
