Tibidabo is the place to go to have fun among the attractions, to enjoy the views from the Collserola viewpoint and, from spring 2026, to enjoy a meal at the restaurant of one of the city’s most renowned chefs.
The celebrated chef Rafa Zafra, a national gastronomic reference after his time at places like Estimar, Jondal or Per Feina, will disembark in Parc del Tibidabo with a unique restaurant that will open its doors in the Masia de la Plaça del Tibidabo, crowning the “Cim de les Emocions”. It is an ambitious culinary proposal that aims to complement the park experience beyond the attractions.
What the Tibidabo restaurant will be like
The new space, with capacity for 300 diners, will include three distinct environments: an indoor room for 170 people, a panoramic terrace for 130 people and a lounge-viewpoint with privileged views of Barcelona. Zafra seeks to offer honest, fun and accessible cuisine, designed for both adults and children, avoiding traditional children’s menus and opting for local and seasonal products. Its aim: to bring the youngest ones closer to haute cuisine without renouncing to enjoyment, and for the older ones to eat with the illusion of a child.
The architecture of the project has been the responsibility of Varis Arquitectes, led by Dani Freixes, author of emblematic interventions in the park such as the Avió or the Miramiralls attraction. The restaurant is conceived as a “mutant and welcoming” space, capable of adapting to different situations of the day and the context of the park, through the play of light, the projection of images and a sophisticated acoustic and climatic design.
BSM, the municipal company that manages Tibidabo , adds with this bet its goal of consolidating itself as a complete leisure destination, with attractions such as the Cuca de LLum, which entertains from the access to the park or all the attractions that are organized for the whole family at any time of the year.
