The Bono Alquiler Joven 2025, or Bo Lloger, can now be applied for at the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Month by month and until December 2026, this state aid will finance with 250 euros the monthly amount of the rent to those applicants who meet the requirements.
According to the official resolution TER/1373/2025 of the Generalitat published this Monday, the requirements to apply for the Bo Lloguer Jove in Catalonia are as follows:
Remember that this year applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. The deadline to apply for the Bono Alquiler Jove is open until next Friday, May 23rd.

Personal requirements
- Be 35 years old or younger.
- To reside legally in Catalonia.
- To be registered in the dwelling or room for which the aid is requested.
- Not have any monthly rent pending at the time of applying for the subsidy.
- Fulfill all legal obligations in order to receive a public subsidy.
Income requirements
- To have a regular income that does not exceed 25,200 € per year (referring to the fiscal year 2023, 2024 or 2025).
- If there are several young people living together in the same dwelling who are holders of a rental or assignment contract and are applying individually, the income of each applicant will be assessed separately.
- If only one person submits the application but lives with other people in the dwelling, the income of the other cohabitants will be taken into account, whether or not they are on the contract.
- In case of renting a room, only the applicant’s income will be taken into account, not the income of the other people with whom he/she lives.
Requirements of the contract of rent or cession of use
- The contract must be in the applicant’s name.
- It must be for a dwelling or room that is the applicant’s usual and permanent residence.
- In case of a room:
- The contract must be formalized in writing.
- It must include: identification of the parties, price and duration of the contract.
- If the person who rents the room is the main tenant of the dwelling, the written consent of the owner must be stated.
- If the applicant has not yet signed the contract, but is in a position to do so, it must be formalized within a maximum of 2 months from the notification of the granting of the aid.
- The rental price cannot exceed the following monthly amounts, depending on the area:

Rental receipt requirements
- They must be corresponding to the year 2025.
- All receipts must be paid.
- The payment must have been made by:
- Bank transfer
- Direct debit
- Deposit into an account
- Bizum
- Receipt issued by the property manager
- The receipt must include: Name of the tenant, Name of the owner (or other landlord), Concept of the payment, Amount of the monthly payment, Month corresponding to the payment,
Soon, the Generalitat de Catalunya will publish the bases of new autonomous rental subsidies that will range between 20 and 250 euros per month for those who have not been able to access this Bono Alquiler Joven.
