Barcelona-Lisbon. A couple of hours by plane. Sixty minutes separate the Mediterranean city from the Atlantic capital and take us to a four-day festival that has already confirmed its full lineup. That said, both festival passes and day passes for the first weekend of the event (June 20 and 21) are already sold out (except for VIP and Comfort Zone passes, which are only available for the 20th); luckily, day passes are still available for the other two days, and full passes for the second weekend (June 27 and 28). Cyndi Lauper, 4 Non Blondes, Joss Stone, Sepultura, P.O.D., and our beloved Lola Índigo are just some of the music legends who will be giving it their all at Rock in Rio Lisbon. Below, we’ll go over the entire festival lineup and a bonus track to top off your getaway to Lisbon.
Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026 Lineup
Parque Tejo will once again be the main venue for this festival. For this edition, the facilities will be upgraded (with more rest areas) and the venue itself will be expanded. What does that mean? A broader lineup. The last edition of Rock in Rio took place in 106 countries and drew over 300,000 visitors. Let’s see what Lisbon has in store for us:
June 20: The day of the great pop diva
We’ve watched her spin endlessly in the sky, we’ve sung along with her to “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It,” we’ve heard her speak Catalan… and now, we’re back in the bizarre world of Katy Perry at Rock in Rio Lisbon.
On that same day, international talents will also be performing, such as Brazilian Pedro Sampaio, American Charlie Puth, the Calema brothers from São Tomé and Príncipe, and Napa, the pop-rock band from Madeira. Also performing are Alok, Audrey Nuna, Nena Maninho, and Sofia Camara.
June 21: the hardest-hitting night
This day is, without a doubt, all about guitars, heavy sounds, metal, and hardcore. Rock in Rio Lisbon confirms the presence of the Brazilian band Sepultura: how can it be that “Roots, Bloody Roots” is from 1996? They’ll be celebrating 30 years at the festival—incredible. And while Sepultura were rising to fame, P.O.D. emerged in the ’90s, when nu-metal (popularly known as “tracksuit metal”) became a religion. Joining these two bands is a third that encapsulates the legacy of these sounds in the hard rock of The Pretty Reckless (the band led by actress and grunge mezzo-soprano Taylor Momsen).
This day will also feature a nostalgic look back at the 2000s, filled with power pop and alternative rock: Hoobastank, creators of “The Reason,” perhaps one of the most iconic songs of what was happening on MTV during those years. Also joining the lineup are the Portuguese bands Blasted Mechanism and Tara Perdida.
All of them will make for an epic day, for which more bands had already been confirmed, such as Linkin Park: Chester isn’t there, but the band holds its own with the voice of Emily Armstrong, who has managed to lead the band down a new path without forgetting the essence and very spirit of the Californians; Cypress Hill will bring the flavor of classic L.A. hip-hop to Lisbon; Grandson and the Kaiser Chiefs will come to shake up the stage with their alternative rock.

June 27: Music legends, a tribute to the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s
Unbelievable but true, the guitars are still ringing out and, perhaps, are more alive than ever, knocking once again on the doors of new generations. June 27 is the day of the great legends of music—a day entirely dedicated to iconic artists spanning several generations.
The lineup for this day is packed with absolute music icons, queens of the stage, and classic anthems: Cyndi Lauper, 4 Non Blondes (who, after years away, are returning to the mainstream stage following the viral success of their hit “What’s Up” on TikTok), and Joss Stone, the voice of soul. They all join Rod Stewart, with a concert designed specifically for Rock in Rio Lisbon.
Joining him are Shaggy (pure nostalgia for the most bombastic sounds of the ’90s), The Wailers with the reggae legacy of their mentor, Bob Marley, as well as Xutos & Pontapés, GNR, UHG, Táxi, Belo, and Syro—Portuguese bands that have shaped the country’s rock scene from the ’80s to the present day.
June 28: a day for rap and urban music
The Mundo stage unveils its first headliners, featuring international acts such as 21 Savage, who won the 2020 Grammy for Best Rap Song for “A Lot”; Central Cee, one of the leading figures in contemporary British hip-hop; Rema, considered by many to be the new face of Afrobeat; and Matuê, the artist ushering in a new era in Brazilian rap.
Meanwhile, the Music Valley stage will feature performances by Filipe Ret, DENNIS, Carlao, and Irina Barros, while the Super Bock stage will showcase Lola Índigo as its headlining national act.
How to get to Parque Tejo, Lisbon’s City of Rock
Just a flight and a two-hour trip separate you from your getaway to Lisbon, but once there, what’s the easiest way to get to Parque Tejo, home of Rock in Rio Lisbon? The organizers will provide shuttle buses throughout the festival that, for a very affordable price (€2 for a round-trip ticket until June 14; €4 starting that day), will take us to the venue.
These buses will run throughout the four days of the festival from Gare do Oriente, one of Lisbon’s main train stations, which is easily accessible by public transportation from anywhere in the city. Get your shuttle bus tickets here and stop worrying about logistics.
