Tibidabo Amusement Park kicks off a summer season that promises to make history. More hours of family fun, new shows, and the spectacular lighting of the “Barcelona” letters.

“Barcelona” lights up at nightfall
Set to the rhythm of Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé’s iconic “Barcelona,” the Panoramic Area hosts a moving contemporary dance and light show every weekend in July at 9:45 p.m., designed to culminate with the lighting of the giant “Barcelona” letters.
So that visitors can take their time enjoying this and other great nighttime attractions coming up in the coming months, the park is extending its hours. Starting July 9, the park will be open Wednesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. And take note: in August, the schedule gets even better—closing time is extended to 10:00 p.m.!
And the good news doesn’t end there—these extended hours will bring back the highly anticipated Laser Show, with which the park will bid farewell each day. Starting August 1 at 9:30 p.m., the Plaça dels Somnis will be transformed into a whirlwind of lights, music, and color, offering a high-tech experience that will have young and old alike dancing.
Puppets, dances from around the world, and… the occasional scare
We’ve got even more new attractions! The Marionetarium is premiering *Més Cabrioles*, the highly anticipated second season of the acclaimed puppet show. The Tibidabo Mascots star in *La volta al món ballant*, a new interactive show that takes you on a journey across the five continents through music and dance, and the horror attraction, *Hotel 666*, is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
And what about taking a break between attractions? The park is debuting Platja Tibidabo, an area designed for cooling off with water games, and the Masía Tibidabo restaurant, the perfect spot to treat yourself to a culinary delight bearing the hallmark of the prestigious chef Rafa Zafra.
