The cheapest pool in Barcelona in 2025 is also the largest. The bathing area of the lake of the Creueta del Coll park, in the neighborhood of Coll (Gràcia), opened its doors last Saturday, June 7, for the second consecutive year after the drought restrictions imposed in Catalonia since 2023.
This year it does so with slightly higher prices, as the entrance fee goes from 2.49 to 2.75 euros, but it will still be the cheapest of all Barcelona to enjoy a dip. In exchange, more than 2,000 m² of water and a maximum depth of 60 cm to cool off.
Regular visitors can also purchase a 10-session pass for 20.68 euros, available at the box office. Senior citizens with a Pink Card and children under one year of age, who can access free of charge.
La Creueta del Coll: opening hours and new features in 2025
The pool will remain open until September 7, 2025 and those who visit it will be able to try first-hand the new features it brings: new grass area, more sun loungers (3.30 euros daily rental or 1.87 euros half day), new changing rooms and accessible toilets.
This renovation has been the result of an investment of 340,000 euros from the participatory budgets of the district of Gràcia.
In this pool presided over by Chillida’s “The Praise of Water”, the use of aquatic footwear is recommended to avoid injuries due to the uneven floor.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, and weekends from 10 am to 8 pm. The maximum capacity is 800 people, controlled by a surveillance system at the entrance. In 2024, more than 81,000 people visited the facility.
