Barcelona continues to strengthen its urban mobility network. To respond to residential and commercial growth in the city’s new districts, the bus service is being adapted to offer more direct routes and greater coverage in expanding areas.
Starting April 27, the V5 bus line will extend its route to serve the La Marina del Prat Vermell neighborhood. This change includes the addition of new stops and aims to improve connectivity in the area, while maintaining its usual connection to the Pedralbes district.
What are the new destinations, route, and stops for the V5?

To cover the neighborhood’s expansion, the following boarding points have been established.
- Toward Pedralbes: The service will now begin its route on Carrer dels Motors. From there, it will travel along Carrer de l’Acer and Carrer de Cal Cisó, cross Passeig de la Zona Franca, and turn onto Carrer del Foc to resume its usual route toward the city center and the north.
- Toward La Marina del Prat Vermell: Buses will continue to depart from Pearson Avenue and follow the familiar route to Mare de Déu de Port Street. From this point, the line extends along Foc Street and Zona Franca Boulevard, establishing its new terminal on Motors Street.
