Amiko ice cream parlor and coffee shop on Consell de Cent street in Barcelona is the most beautiful place in Barcelona in 2025. In fact, it is the only one on the list of finalists for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2025, in the “cafés” category.
These international awards recognize excellence in the design of gastronomic spaces around the world every year. In the case of the Catalan establishment, the interior design is signed by the Valencian studio Masquespacio, and is inspired by art deco and the aesthetics of Palm Beach in Miami, projected into the future.
Amiko’s design according to its creators

The 105-square-meter space combines sinuous curves typical of the era with contemporary straight lines, in a palette of softened pastel tones that contrast with dark earthy hues, as the studio explains on its website.
In addition, the proposal incorporates tropical vegetation that contrasts with hard materials such as ceramic and metal.
According to the studio, the venue has been designed to “stimulate all the senses” with lighting that varies throughout the day, aromas of ice cream and vegetation, and tableware created specifically for the experience.

Amiko offers brunch, breakfast, light meals and artisanal ice cream with flavors such as pistachio, dulce de leche, mascarpone, matcha and tropical fruits.
The winners of the awards will be announced on October 27 at EPIK Dubai (United Arab Emirates), in a ceremony that will bring together finalists from around the world.
The Barcelona restaurant Malparit, which is a candidate for the award for best visual image, will also be present.
