The Christmas shows are spreading throughout Barcelona, and the Kings, elves and pages have their work cut out for them to be everywhere they are needed. Since last year, after the success of the Bosc Encantat de Gavà or the Christmas village of Les Barcarès, a few minutes away from Barcelona there is another Christmas village: El Bosc dels Somnis de Sant Boi.
The Bosc dels Somnis, however, has a particularity, its 4500 m2 of show are full of actors that turn the walk into an immersive outdoor experience, something like the classic tunnel of terror, but in Christmas version. After attracting 20,000 visitors last year, we tell you everything you need to know about the 2024 edition.
When and where is it?
From December 21 to 31, at Masia de Can Julià (Carrer Bonaventura Calopa, 26, Sant Boi de Llobregat).
The schedule is from 17:00 to 21:30 h, with special hours on 24, 25, 26 and 31 December.
What is the Bosc dels Somnis like?
This farmhouse turned into a Christmas forest is an immersive, open-air and unguided tour, where you can find the Fada Garlanda, the Christmas post office, the kitchen of the best sweets, the planetarium of illusions, the toy factory or even the coal mine.
The forest is inhabited by magical characters such as the Fairy Garlanda, the Dreaming Astrologer, the Wallet Pepa or the Coalman Ramon, with whom visitors can interact.
In addition, visitors can enjoy a special gastronomic offer with hot chocolate, crepes and Christmas sweets, while admiring the impressive lights that surround the entire enclosure. In total, 4,500 square meters of tour with 30 actors.
