Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau: the world’s largest Art Nouveau Suite
It is one of the architectural jewels of Barcelona, and no wonder. The imposing Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau, designed by the modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. A unique space known for its tiles, domes, mosaics and gardens, which hosts a unique musical event: Candlelight.

It was commissioned by the businessman and patron of the arts Eusebi Güell and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005. Cripta Gaudí is an essential work by Antonio Gaudí in which he experimented with the innovations that he would later apply to the Sagrada Familia, the greatest exponent of Catalan modernist architecture.

Built in the 19th century, the parish Parroquia de Sant Francesc de Sales is one of the most beautiful examples of neo-Gothic architecture in Barcelona. An elegant building that was part of the order of the Visitación de Santa María and is considered the most important work of the Catalan architect Joan Martorell i Montells.

Since 1881, the Real Círculo Artístico de Barcelona has been the favourite meeting place for Catalan artists. Preserving its classical atmosphere, it is located in the Palacio Pignatelli and Casa Bassols, two authentic 16th-century architectural gems renovated in the early 19th century by Josep Fontserè i Domènech, and for the last time in 2014.
