The clandestine cocktail bar in the Born, Florería Atlántico Barcelona, is two years old and to celebrate it will be giving away free cocktails. Yes, only to the locals. In case you don’t remember it, we told you about it here, when it opened, because it is one of the best cocktail bars in the world.
Therefore, from May 1 and throughout the month, all citizens who approach the local with your ID and prove residence in the city can enjoy a free cocktail, to choose from over fifty options with or without alcohol.
Located in front of the Estación de Francia and recognized by the prestigious 50 Best Bars List, Florería Atlántico is a local, hidden in a basement with the aesthetics of a cabinet of curiosities, with a marine dinosaur skeleton hanging from the ceiling, offering Argentine cuisine -empanadas, cuts of meat-.
The celebration also wants to pay tribute to the Argentine community living in the city: those who present an Argentine passport will get a 20% discount throughout the month of May on the entire menu of drinks and gastronomy.
This unique space is the result of a collaboration between three industry leaders: Argentine bartender Tato Giovannoni, the creative mind behind the iconic Florería Original in Buenos Aires; Diego Cabrera, creator of Salmon Guru in Madrid; and Alejandro Resnik, an entrepreneur specializing in premium hospitality. Together they have created a project that, from Barcelona, combines art, spirituality and signature cocktails, with the aim of enhancing the value of the host community.
