Barcelona will once again search for the best pizza in town next April. From April 4 to 6, the biggest pizza festival, the Mahou Pizzas Fest, will celebrate its 3rd edition in Poble Espanyl.
With more than 60,000 attendees in 2024, the Pizzas Fest jury will be looking for the best recipe of this Italian dish among the 10 participating restaurants. For the 2025 edition the festival will feature Luigi, Pizza Social Club, Positano, Dallas Pizza, Giorgio, Vitali, Pizzaart Badalona and Mamma la pizza.
Barcelona Secreta, jury of the Pizzas Fest
The public will be able to vote for their favorite pizza, while a jury made up of professionals and food critics, including Barcelona Secreta, and the well-known foodie influencer Edu González (Bravas Barcelona) will choose the winner. The names of the winners will be announced on the last day of the festival.
As last year, Barcelona Secreta will be one of the jurors of the festival, and we will evaluate the pizzas to decide which are the best in the city.
The more than 40,000 m² of the Poble Espanyol will host activities for all audiences: live contests with prizes such as beer shooters for home and exclusive t-shirts, guided tastings, special pairings, an area dedicated to desserts and a wide selection of beers to complement the experience.
To facilitate access, the festival offers free admission for residents of Catalonia, although subject to available capacity. It will also be possible to purchase the Menu Ticket, which guarantees access and includes a pizza (whole or slice), a reusable glass and a drink. This option also offers priority access to the restaurant queues.
Due to the high demand of previous editions, the festival has improved its distribution and will divide access into two time slots (lunch and dinner).
The opening hours of Pizzas Fest 2025 are: Friday, April 4 from 118 to 00:00 hours; Saturday, April 5 from 12:00 to 00:00 hours; Sunday, April 6 from 12:00 to 22:00 hours.
