We are too accustomed to thinking about everything in terms of a single age group and a certain type of lifestyle. But Barcelona is also diverse in terms of age and lifestyle, and although things are unfortunately becoming more difficult, there are still many families who want to enjoy a weekend, a holiday, or a long weekend together without having to resort to the same old park.
Here is a selection of things to do with children in Barcelona that we loved, so that the whole family can enjoy a great weekend for all ages.

Fresh milk and a cup filled to the brim. And if it’s with churros, even better. Drinking a cup of hot chocolate not only makes us feel a little clumsy as we get our hands and faces covered in chocolate, but it also makes us feel like children because it’s a tradition we enjoyed when we were little during the cold winter months. That’s why taking your children to one of the best chocolate shops in the city (whether to have a cup with churros or buy some good chocolates) is one of the most typical and enriching family plans of the season (never better said).
