Pixar World
Imagine walking among your favorite characters, live Pixar animation in first person and feel like Woody’s ‘favorite toy’.

Disco nights at Jamboree

Barcelona’s temple of jazz is, after midnight, one of the best clubs in Barcelona to enjoy urban music in all its facets. A perfect place to dance non-stop while having a drink and in a privileged enclave, Plaça Reial, close to other leisure attractions to spend a memorable night.

Vermut and Soul Festival (from November 15 to 17)

Vermouth lovers have an unmissable date this November: Vermut and Soul Festival is back with an edition full of flavor and good music. For starters, expect a real display of vermouth to taste, with names like El Bandarra, Turmeon or Miró, as well as a bravas route with Edu Bravas to complete the gastronomic experience.
As a novelty, the festival brings a Silent Disco and a free makeup area, perfect to give an extra touch to your festival look. There will also be tasting workshops where, in addition to tasting, you can create your own vermouth and take a personalized bottle home.

Dalí Challenge

“You know nothing about me” is the motto of this artistic, didactic and immersive exhibition, which brings us closer to the artist’s life and work in ways different from the usual ones. With digital reproductions, virtual reality, a recreation of his studio in Portlligat and other activities, it reveals lesser-known facets of the Empordà genius and gives more value than ever to the figure of Gala.

Sorolla: a new dimension
The year Sorolla was in 2023, but Barcelona continues to host this exhibition in which you can not do better tribute to the Valencian artist. Flamenco show at the tablao Tarantos

The oldest tablao in Barcelona today offers daily shows in various slots, ideal shows to start in the world of singing, guitar playing and dancing or enjoy the beautiful if we are already fans of flamenco. The show can be complemented with a drink or even dinner in a neighboring restaurant.

Candlelight tributes
This November, Candlelight‘s candlelight concerts are filled with the music of great artists of yesterday and today. From Coldplay to Queen, through Abba or The Beatles. Of course, there is no shortage of those dedicated to classical composers, such as Mozart, or contemporary ones, such as the one dedicated to Joe Hisaishi, creator of the most famous soundtracks of Studio Ghibli films.

Film Festival

Unlimited cinema at 3,50€ per session. This is the proposal of the Fiesta del Cine, which returns one more edition for us to enjoy all those films on the billboard that we have pending. Up to 40 theaters in Catalonia join the proposal, which will allow us to enjoy recent unmissable premieres such as La Sustancia, La Infiltrada, Robot Salvaje, Anora, El Llanto and so many other films that deserve to be seen on the big screen.

Curtcircuit

Curtcircuit is a concert series that, among other cities, proposes some events in Barcelona. Triquell, Cotonete, Joan Colomo and Mourn are the proposals for this November, all of them held on Friday or Saturday, which allows to extend the party after the music. All concerts are held in small and measured rooms, away from the big halls of the capital, so that we can enjoy the live performances up close.

World Press Photo 2024

The international photojournalism exhibition will showcase the best images from its competition, offering a glimpse into the most important events of the past year through documentary photography
This year’s global winners include Mohammed Salem, winner of Photography of the Year, with his photograph depicting the siege in Gaza; Lee-Annn Owalge, awarded for Graphic Reportage of the Year with a series portraying a family in Madagascar; and Alejandro Cegarra, Venezuelan photographer, who received the award for Best Long-Term Project for his work on migration policies on the U.S.-Mexico border.

I do not know if we could dare to call Barcelona the capital of chocolate, but we can boast of having many of the best chocolate shops in the country. Barcelona is a real paradise for chocolate lovers with places like Chöck, Cacao Sampaka or Granka Dulcinea, where you can taste the authentic hot chocolate with churros, in the purest Barcelona style. And if you want to try new things, try the hot pistachio a la taza.

Escena
Escena is a performing arts cycle that wants to bring culture to all audiences. That’s why all the shows are free (you only have to book a ticket) and are held in different civic centers in Barcelona, many of them far from the center. A perfect opportunity to enjoy the latest trends in music, circus, dance and theater, a timeless billboard for all tastes and ages and with well known names such as Alba Careta, Guillem Albà, Miquel Ripeu and many other local creators.

Barcelona International Jazz Festival

One of the most traditional festivals of our city and, although it is said “jazz”, one of the most eclectic. For this year’s edition, there is no lack of great local talent, represented by great figures such as Rita Payés, Andrea Motis, Silvia Pérez Cruz with Juan Falú or Chicuelo with Marco Mezquita among others. And flamenco has again a great weight, with legends such as Miguel Poveda or Tomatito or new stars such as María José Llergo.

Amazonias. The Ancestral Future

This exhibition seeks to highlight the strategic importance of preserving the Amazon globally. The main focus of the exhibition will be the dialogue between indigenous ancestral wisdom and contemporary scientific knowledge, highlighting how indigenous peoples have developed sustainable ways of coexisting with nature, which are now more relevant than ever in the face of global environmental challenges.

The most anticipated concerts in November
November in Barcelona brings a wave of live music with unmissable concerts. La Casa Azul will celebrate its 25th anniversary on November 9 at the Sant Jordi Club, while the legendary Bryan Adams will fill the Palau Sant Jordi on November 12 with his rock classics.

This cycle, which after a summer season premieres its winter season, will have until March 2025 with 160 projections in 23 civic centers of Barcelona. A decentralized proposal to enjoy films from all periods and that this time has the theme “imagining futures”. Banksy Museum
The Banksy Museum brings us closer to the committed look of the artist through an immersive exhibition. An exhibition that collects all those experiences of Banksy in the streets through more than 130 reproductions of his works. In it, the viewer walks through an urban scenography that will take him from city to city and from era to era to discover his entire career.

The plays of the month in Barcelona

Autumn is synonymous with premieres in the theatrical billboard.
