IKONO
IKONO is an immersive space where art by various emerging artists is shown but, unlike traditional museums, here we are not forbidden to touch, in fact, we are invited! We will also be part of the artistic composition in an installation and we can even create an ephemeral work. Of course, all photos and videos for our social networks are also welcome.

Mozart and Vienna: a magical journey through music
In a journey through time that will automatically transport us to the Vienna of Classicism, Mozart will come to life in Barcelona thanks to virtual reality technology. From November 10, the Reial Cercle Artístic will host the immersive experience Mozart and Vienna: a magical journey through music, which will give us the opportunity to immerse ourselves completely in the life and work of the brilliant Austrian composer.
This virtual reality experience takes over from Petra: the glory of the Nabataeans, which after months of success bids farewell to Barcelona.

Concerts of the Cruïlla Tardor cycle at El Molino
Cruïlla Tardor is the prelude to Cruïlla, the great summer festival that brings to Barcelona great national and international artists. . Its autumn edition takes place indoors, and this year it gains a new space with a lot of tradition: El Molino. The mythical venue in Paral-lel, reopened just over a year ago, is an ideal setting for some of the concerts of this cycle . These are the renowned artists who will be there this November:

Two artists and an unprecedented immersive duel: this is how Leonardo Versus Michelangelo begins, a spectacular immersive exhibition that shows us the work of both artists and makes us continuously choose our favorite. Candlelight tributes
This November, Candlelight‘s candlelight concerts are filled with the music of great artists of yesterday and today, always in unique venues in Barcelona. From Coldplay to Queen, through Abba or Metallica. Of course, there is no shortage of those dedicated to classical composers, such as Mozart, or those that pay tribute to mythical soundtracks such as those of The Lord of the Ringsor Game of Thrones.

Terror Molins

The Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival, which celebrates its 44th edition, presents a program that includes feature and short films in competition, retrospectives, documentaries and one of the oldest horror film marathons in the world. In this edition, the leitmotiv is “J-Horror, beyond astonishment”, paying tribute to Japanese horror cinema with special screenings and activities.

L’Alternativa
The Barcelona Independent Film Festival, L’Alternativa, will celebrate its 32nd edition at venues such as the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), the Filmoteca de Catalunya and the Zumzeig and Maldà cinemas. This event presents a program focused on the exhibition of independent cinema, with an international and national competition of feature and short films covering genres such as fiction, non-fiction, essay, experimental cinema and animation. Some of the filmmakers who will present their works are Hafsia Herzi, Jem Cohen or José Luis Guerin, and there will be cycles dedicated to committed filmmakers such as Lizzie Borden, René Vautier and Theo Anthony.
In addition, the festival is committed to hybridity and a selection of films from the 32nd edition will be available on Filmin for 15 days in January 2026.

Drap-Art, International Festival of Sustainable Art

The Drap-Art festival returns to Barcelona to celebrate a month dedicated to art and sustainability, with activities that will take place in galleries and spaces in the Gothic Quarter. This free event promotes art created from recycled or reused materials, transforming everyday objects into works with a message of environmental commitment. The festival will include exhibitions by selected artists, cultural actions and visual interactions, focusing on the value of upcycling and creativity as tools for ecological awareness.

Film Festival

Unlimited cinema at 3,50€ per session. This is the proposal of the Fiesta del Cine, which returns one more edition for us to enjoy all those films on the billboard that we have pending. Up to 40 theaters in Catalonia join the proposal, which will allow us to enjoy recent unmissable premieres such as One Battle After Another, Maspalomas, The Ugly Stepsister, Good Boy, The Life of Chuck, Frankestein or so many other films that deserve to be seen on the big screen.

Curtcircuit is a cycle of concerts that, among other cities, proposes some events in Barcelona. All concerts are held in small and medium-sized venues, away from the big halls of the capital, so that we can enjoy the live performances up close.

World Press Photo 2025

The international photojournalism exhibition will showcase the best images of its contest, offering a vision of the most important events of the past year through documentary photography. This is a special edition, as it is the 70th anniversary of this prestigious award.
Among this year’s overall winners was Palestinian photographer Samar Abu Elouf, who won the Photo of the Year award for her moving image of Mahmoud Ajjour, a nine-year-old boy in Gaza who lost both arms after an Israeli attack. The award for Photographic Reportage of the Year went to Musuk Nolte for his series on the devastating drought in the Peruvian Amazon, aggravated by climate change. The Spanish presence also stands out, with awards for Samuel Nacar and Luis Tato.

Escena
Escena is a performing arts cycle that wants to bring culture to all audiences. That’s why all the shows are free (you just have to book your ticket) and are held in different civic centers of Barcelona, many of them far from the center. A perfect occasion to enjoy the latest trends in music, circus, dance and theater, a timeless billboard for all tastes and ages and with recognized names such as Maria Rodés, Alba Careta and Henrio or Èlia Bastida TRio, among many other local creators.

For one night only and for 6 hours, the creative community of Poblenou Urban District will show all their creations for the enjoyment of the neighbors of the neighborhood and anyone who wants to stop by. Barcelona International Jazz Festival
One of the most traditional festivals of our city and, although it is said “jazz”, one of the most eclectic. For this year’s edition, there is no lack of great local talent, represented by great figures such as La Vella Dixieland with Nanina, Andrea Motis & Barcelona Gospel Messengers or Lina and Marco Mezquida. And flamenco has again a great weight, with legends such as José Mercé or Las Migas.

42nd Barcelona Festival of Fantastic Genres
The fantastic genre in its broadest sense (horror, fantasy, science fiction…) has a great event in Barcelona, now in its 5th edition. On this occasion, the event pays tribute to great local events, such as the 40th anniversary of the legendary bookstore Gigamesh, and features prominent speakers such as the writers V.E. Schwab (one of the most widely read genre writers of today) or Joan-Lluís Lluís (author of the successful Jo soc aquell que va matar Franco). In addition, there will be a cosplay contest and other activities that avid readers will love.

BDC Screen
This cycle, which after a summer season premieres its winter season, will count until March 2026 with more than 1” screenings in 23 civic centers of Barcelona. The festival for series lovers is back. In this year’s edition, different national (for example, Los 39 or Jakarta) and international (such as The Danish Woman or A Better Man) series will compete for the award of the event and their creators or artistic directors will attend so that the audience can learn more about their creations. A highlight will be the presence of an audiovisual great, the screenwriter and director Alan Ball, who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the end of A Two Meters Under Ground and will give a talk about his career.

Eating the best callos in the world

It turns out that you don’t have to go far to eat the best tripe in the world. Specifically, to l’Hospitalet, because a homemade bar in this town has won the World Cup of tripe at the congress of haute cuisine San Sebastian Gastronomika. Art is sometimes in the street. This is demonstrated by the Nou Sentit Urbà initiative, which has filled Nou Barris with giant-sized works in some of its buildings and which are well worth a route.

Switching on the Christmas lights
Christmas this year comes earlier and earlier in Barcelona: the lights switch-on will be on Saturday, November 22 at 6:30 pm, days earlier than usual (which is always usually the last weekend of November). The lighting will feature signature designs in emblematic streets and the hours of operation will be maintained, from 5:30 pm to 1:00 am on weekdays and until 2:00 am on weekends and holiday eves.

The Lights of Sant Pau
If the official lighting of lights is not enough for you, there is still more. Once again this year Llums de Sant Pau is back, filling the modernist hospital with beautiful illumination. Visitors will be able to walk through a completely renovated lighting circuit with 18 interactive installations. Under the slogan “We turn on the light of your Christmas”, the show offers an immersive experience for all ages, including the Royal Camp of King Balthazar.

The most awaited concerts in November
November in Barcelona brings a wave of live music with unmissable concerts. Elefantes celebrate 25 years of their mythical Azul at Paral-lel 62, the last Eurovision winner, Nemo, comes to the city; and we will be able to see artists as varied as Jamiroquai, BALTHVS or Tommy Cash with his Espresso Machiatto.
