The new public transport fares for the Barcelona area will come into force next January 15, 2026. A generalized fare increase, but which will maintain the 50% discounts on tickets such as T-usual or T-Jove, although the reference prices will be slightly increased to reflect the impact of inflation and maintenance costs.
According to the information provided, the one-zone T-usual, the most widely used unlimited monthly subscription, will cost 22.80 euros. This price includes the 50% discount stipulated by Royal Decree-Law 17/2025. For the rest of the zones, the prices of this card will range from 30.55 euros for two zones to 67.65 euros for the seven-zone card.
For its part, the T-casual will be priced at 13.00 euros for one zone. The cost scales progressively according to the distance, reaching 57.60 euros for the seven-zone ticket.
The single ticket for one zone will cost 2.90 euros, while the specific ticket to reach the airport with the Barcelona metro will cost 5.90 euros.
The fare system maintains the unified price for the T-jove. This quarterly ticket for people under 30 years of age will cost 45.50 euros and will be valid for all zones of the ATM fare system, regardless of the origin and destination of the trip.
