Barcelona is a city full of history, every corner we walk on is an accumulation of stories that, although we may not know, have been creating the essence of our city.
The Betevé program “Va passar aquí”, is responsible for explaining all these curiosities of the city and, currently, they have made more than 1,300 reports over 14 seasons.
Now, they have gone a step further, and together with the collaboration of the Barcelona City Council , they have placed 45 QR codes in the city so that people can scan them and know what has happened in that same place .
In this way, anyone who comes across a code will only have to scan it and, from there, will have access to the chapters of the program, in reduced format, which explain what stories have surrounded those streets, squares and buildings.
At the moment, it is a pilot test and the QR are only in the districts of Sant Andreu, Sant Martí and Nou Barris, although it aims to expand to other neighborhoods of the city.
So if you want to know a little more about our city, all you need is a cell phone, headphones and go for a walk.
