Every summer, La Pedrera is transformed into one of the most unique venues in the city. And this 2025 will be no exception. From May 30 to August 1, every Friday night, Gaudí’s emblematic building hosts a new edition of Talents Jazz, the cycle promoted by the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera that gives voice to the emerging talent of Catalan jazz.
With eleven concerts, the festival offers a vibrant sample of the stylistic diversity of contemporary jazz, always from the perspective of musicians who are taking their first professional steps. In each edition, the cycle reaffirms itself as a space for intergenerational encounters, where emerging creators and established artists share the stage, inspiration and musical complicities.
Jazz in the modernist heights
Talents Jazz is much more than just a festival: it is the result of a collaboration between the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera and three of the city’ s main musical educational institutions: the Conservatori del Liceu, the Taller de Músics and the ESMUC. Thanks to these alliances, the series offers a unique line-up that reflects the vitality of Barcelona’s cultural ecosystem and its capacity to generate new quality proposals.
As a novelty, the 2025 edition will include the performance of the winner of the Jove Talent 2025 Award of the Association of Jazz and Modern Music Musicians of Catalonia, thus reaffirming the project’s desire to become a loudspeaker and springboard for the musicians of the future.
The venue is not anecdotal: the roof terrace of La Pedrera – Casa Milà provides each concert with a unique atmosphere, where the modernist architecture, the history of the building and the skyline of Barcelona merge with the rhythm of jazz.
The ticket costs 39€ and includes free visit to the attics, concert and a glass of cava.
