The Barcelona City Council has launched this week, coinciding with the Sant Jordi holiday, the first edition of the “Barcelona Restauració Guide”, a yearbook that brings together the bars and restaurants awarded in the “Premis Barcelona Restauració” from its inception in 2017 to the present day.
Barcelona, which has 10,000 bars and restaurants registered, groups in this guide a hundred establishments grouped by districts of the city.
This is an initiative promoted by the Directorate of Trade, Catering and Consumer Services. The first print run of the guide consists of 1 ,000 copies, although the council plans to extend its distribution in both paper and digital format.
The physical copy can be purchased for a price of 12 euros at Sala Ciutat, the bookstore specializing in publications of the Barcelona City Council at Carrer Ciutat 2. The digital version is available at this link.
Each year, after the celebration of the awards gala, where 3 categories are awarded (Qualitat Gastronòmica, Integració al Barri i Local Notori o Innovador), a version of this yearbook will be reissued.
The awards, which have held four editions to date, have so far recognized the work of venues such as Agreste, Granja Elena, and Fismuler, among others. These are the restaurants winners of some award in “Premis Barcelona Restauració” to date:
