We congratulate you for your knowledge, but we are sorry to reveal that in Barcelona there are dozens of other festivals, in which each neighborhood, away from the spotlight of the most multitudinous festivals, organizes its own particular celebration.
There are more than thirty. From Guinardó to Bon Pastor, passing through the festivals of Dreta de l’Eixample and Fort Pienc. If the grace of Barcelona is the particularity of its neighborhoods, the major festivals of each of them are its greatest expression. Therefore, we bring you the calendar of each of the major festivals organized by dates and neighborhoods, so that you organize the year and do not miss a single one.
JANUARY
- Festa Major de Sant Antoni
Dates: from 17th to 26th January 2025
First big festival of the year. Habanera singing, cavalcade of the Tres Tombs, correfoc, popular race and popular meals during 11 days of celebration.
FEBRUARY
- Santa Eulàlia Festival
Dates: from 7 to 12 February 2025
Major winter festival of the city, organized by the City Council. Popular culture with gegants, dracs, diables, l’Àliga and many other festive figures.
March
- Santa Madrona Festival (Poble-sec)
Dates: from 14 to 16 March 2025
New tradition in honor of the “forgotten” patron saint of Barcelona. Activities in Santa Madrona square, with a strong presence of popular culture. - Festes de Sant Josep Oriol (neighborhood of Pi)
