As every September 11, the Diada events in Barcelona will close with live music and festive atmosphere in Passeig de Lluís Companys. Òmnium Cultural organizes the 23rd edition of the Festa per la Llibertat, an event that brings together thousands of people around the Arc de Triomf to enjoy free concerts and the fair that is installed in the surroundings.
In addition to the political acts or the open doors to museums and institutional buildings, as every year, the event will feature a music line-up to celebrate the Diada.
In addition, on the occasion of the celebration of the events of the National Day of Catalonia, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) and the Barcelona City Council have announced a significant reinforcement of public transport for this Thursday, September 11, especially in the subway.
Buses will run with some route modifications and suspension of lines that you can check here.
Program of the Diada in Barcelona
This year, the line-up is formed by Svetlana, Auxili and DJ K-ZU. Svetlana, the duo of Júlia Díaz and Roc Bernadí, arrives after releasing the EP Sarnalona and their successful Catalan version of Aserejé with Alosa, which has become one of the most viral songs of the summer.
From Ontinyent, the Valencians Auxili will bring their mix of reggae, ska and urban music. They have just released Aborigen (2025), their fifth album, and promise a live show full of energy.
The party will be closed by DJ K-ZU, known for his remixes of classics such as Dagoll Dagom’s Himne dels pirates or Virolai in an electronic key.
