Next Sunday, August 31, will close the season of the municipal swimming pools of Sant Cugat, including La Floresta, a facility located in the heart of the Parc Natural de Collserola, just 20 minutes from Barcelona.
The Piscina Cooperativa d’Aigües de la Floresta is an economical option to escape the summer heat in an idyllic setting: in the heart of a natural park.
Until next Sunday, admission costs 4.78 euros for adults, 2.83 euros for young people aged 6 to 16 and 1.42 euros for children aged 2 to 5 on weekdays. On weekends, prices rise to 5.76 euros for adults and 3.79 for children between 6 and 16 years.
The enclosure, surrounded by woods and with a quiet, family atmosphere, has a large swimming pool for adults and a circular children’s pool, as well as lawns with sun and shade areas and hammocks available for bathers.
New features of the pool in 2025
As a novelty, this year the process of integral improvement of the pool of La Floresta has been completed, with the change of all the tiling of the beach and the installation of new exterior enclosures to prevent water and mud from entering the pool during episodes of rain.
This ensures better water maintenance and greater sustainability. These actions are in addition to the artificial turf installed last year.
La Floresta pool opening hours and how to get there
The 2025 season will run until August 31. The opening hours are Monday to Friday from 11 am to 7:30 pm and on weekends and holidays until 7 pm.
Access can be made both by car and by public transport, by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat, stopping at La Floresta station.
