New Year’s resolutions, many family reunions, the Three Wise Men, the slope… January comes loaded, comes powerful. But to get through it better and not stumble as soon as you start 2024, we recommend a lot of plans of all kinds to welcome the year.
A walk outdoors to welcome 2024 enjoying the good weather.
It doesn’t matter if you like the sea or the mountains, or if you like the countryside or the river. The 2024 arrives in Barcelona with sun and good weather, so few more pleasant plans to walk around the city than on January 1, when the city is empty and everyone sleeps the sleep (and the hangover) of the just.
To enjoy this time nothing like a good walk outdoors, and therefore we have designed some routes for all tastes and that allow you to visit walking areas of the city that escape from the usual routes.
Candlelight Christmas Edition (all month)
The most Christmas edition of the Candlelight concerts lasts until the end of the holidays and maintains its edition this January. The Nutcracker, violin versions of the most typical Christmas carols, The Beatles, Ed Sheeran…the Candlelight catalog this winter has taken its most summery tone, and is the ideal plan to go with your partner or family to celebrate the holidays or even to give as a gift for Christmas. Visit the Fever website to get your tickets, as they usually fly at this time of the year.

Try the new Parking Pizza at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.
Parking Pizza is the Holy Grail of pizza in Barcelona. And just a few months ago the chain opened a new location in the heart of Barcelona, next to Plaça Universitat. A place with large windows, completely transparent, and where wood and a warmth that no longer refers to a parking lot but a restaurant abounds. In fact, they themselves explain that the place is more soundproof than the rest in order to have more calm and listening.
As for the essence, it is the same: long fermentation doughs with unbeatable combinations of ingredients. Some of our favorites are the gorgonzola, taleggio, pecorino, shallots and sage; or the prosciutto cotto alla griglia with mushrooms, scamorza and parmesan. You should also try some of their starters, such as the baked melted Tomino del Boscaiolo cheese with pane Carasao and the smashed avocado with coriander, red onion and pane Lingua di Suocera. For dessert, as always, the infallible tiramisu.

Luchino Visconti Film Series
Aristocrat, communist, homosexual and Catholic. The life of opera, theater and film director Luchino Visconti was paradoxical in itself. His filmography also had two very distinct parts: the first, a sociological portrait of post-war Italy of the poor; the second, with a more lavish style, was marked by revolutions and changes in history that served him to reflect on the decadence of his own social class.

Ice skating is possibly one of the most fun things to do at Christmas. In these cases, the proposal is driven by traders and are good outdoor options to get started in this undoubtedly Christmas plan.
