We’ve all done them, but no one will raise their hand first when we ask if they’ve sung Nino Bravo’s Al partir, a bit of a late-night sore spot. The karaokes are that guilty pleasure, that plan with which a night rarely begins, but with which it often ends.
In Barcelona karaoke may not seem a widespread custom, but the truth is that there are a good handful of stages around the city where the stars of singing in the shower can introduce themselves, perform and show off to their audience.
That’s why we bring you this list with the best karaokes in Barcelona so that you will never again be left with the desire to sing and give it all in that silly night that seems to die soon, and so that the next time we ask, you can raise your hand the first and proudly say yes, it was me who sang “Al Partir, un beso y una flor” last night.
Almodobar
A refuge for old night owls of Gracia, those who know which alley to go to in order to find the party that other places deny them. The Almodobar, not to be confused with the Almo2bar discotheque, also in Gracia (and also from the same business group), hides in a passage in Camp de’n Grassot, where a discotheque welcomes us.
But as this is for old cats, the karaoke is hidden, in turn, on the floor above, where a list of 1500 songs that can be consulted on the web to go prepared, and you can sing while drinking the same beers, cocktails or cubatas that are served in the bar downstairs.
📍C/ d’en Grassot, 36
Trabanqueta
Don’t let their website fool you: although the karaoke is not advertised, Trabanqueta is home to one of the best karaokes in Barcelona, a space to give it all in front of your audience surrounded by neon lights and stepping with panache on a chess-like tile floor that will make you feel like a star of the 70s.
A stroll through their Instagram already gives you an idea of what you’ll find in the place, where, to let loose, you can find a good cocktail menu and, to enjoy, live music concerts (only) a little more professionalized than the usual karaoke singers.
📍C/ de Mallorca, 329,
Touch music karaoke bar

Touch boasts something important: having the largest catalog of songs in Barcelona (and probably in several other places). Their list has, according to their website, 139310 songs, that is, almost 140 thousand songs ready for the most demanding singers. No Nino Bravo or Estopa, here we recommend you to go to the search engine to find the rarest pieces of the collection to surprise your audience or search among their novelties for inspiration.
The place, by the way, is quite fancy. Its stage has a small platform that goes into the audience, so you can put on a performance of another level and feel like Beyoncé for a while.
📍 Carrer de Joan Miró, 8
A Viva Voz
Little more can be said about a karaoke that has not one, but three locations throughout Barcelona. A sign of success without a doubt to a space that doesn’t mess around or dissimulate, here we are in a classic karaoke dedicated to the emerging stars of singing in the shower.
Thousands of songs in up to fifteen different languages give an idea of the professionalism of the place. If we add to that the fact that the entrance is free (with compulsory consumption), and that includes the right to sing and a few wigs and props for characterization, success is assured.

📍C/ de Muntaner, 414
Disco-karaoke Nick
Another classic karaoke in Barcelona. Neon lights, winding bar and the simplicity of singing. On their website they explain: “The karaoke is free, we only ask that you take a drink, you request the song you want to sing and trying to be in order of request we will call you to the stage. If you want to know if we have a special song, please contact us”. Not much more needs to be said.
By the way, they also organize private events and pica pica in case you feel like concentrating your group on site and discovering their vocal skills.
📍Av. de Madrid, 160
Weekend Karaoke Bar
Now that Passeig Sant Joan is refurbished it is quieter, but there was a time when the street had some nightlife spirit, and proof of this is this karaoke, which with its 17 years of history continues to challenge you from its instagram profile: “Come and show us your skills on stage, we are waiting for you!🎤💃🏻”.
A walk through their website gives us a list of songs in 18 different languages (Korean, Nigerian…) and shows us their two rooms, the quiet area, are sofas, and the good area (in our opinion), where to go out on stage to give it all.
📍C/ de la Diputació, 365
Contrast
Neons, stage in front of the audience, chess tiles and a list of 10000 songs to give it all. You can’t ask for more. Open to private parties with up to 120 people, Contraste Karaoke is one of the good karaoke options you have in the Eixample Esquerra.
If you are embarrassed, don’t worry, in Barcelona there are karaokes with private rooms like this Karaoke Rooms, where you can give it all, but in petit comité. It has 16 soundproofed and equipped rooms so you can sing and have a drink while you do it (or watch who does it), and feel like the star you are in front of your friends.
📍 Avenida del Carrilet 237, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat
Forever & Young Music Bar

Here karaoke is not the main thing, but it is important. On Thursdays the public sings, and the rest of the days this bar, set in the 70s and 80s, its stage is populated with all kinds of concerts and remember sessions, ranging from tributes to Joaquín Sabina to techno-house remembers where you can dance flying free. A cult place where they also do Sunday sessions for those looking to extend the weekend.
📍 Aribau, 153
La Orquídea Karaoke
A classic of classics. Few middle-aged people in Barcelona should be left who have not passed by this Chinese food restaurant that also has karaoke and where one does not know what is more important. They have private rooms, well-priced menus and also a large public room where you can show your skills to everyone in the room. Better to book if you don’t want to run out of room.
📍 Calvet Street, 14.
Gran Tonino Piano Club
Singing karaoke is fine, but doing it next to a three-meter grand piano, while the pianist plays the greatest hits and you lean your drink on the piano to give it all without shame is another level. That’s Gran Tonino, a bar-restaurant with a giant piano where dinners always end in a party around the piano where you can play the great songs of life… singing.

Sing-Along: Karaoke and cinema
You can go to the cinema or go to karaoke, but the two don’t usually go hand in hand. Now they do. Sing-along is a common format in the United States (and in certain screenings of cult films), where the broadcasting of the film is accompanied by subtitles and entertainers who invite you to watch the film by singing out loud the songs of the films usually musicals that are shown.
In Spain it is a format that tours around the country with films like Grease, Dirty Dancing, Mamma Mia or the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and in Barcelona it will arrive on Saturday November 26 at Bosque Multicines, with the film “Voy a pasármelo bien”, a musical comedy with some great sung hits like ‘Venecia’, ‘Sufre mamón’ or ‘Visite nuestro bar’.
