And from there down. Eating at a starred restaurant is for a special occasion, and even if it is a special occasion, the some are more accessible than others we have discovered one very close to Barcelona that is among the cheapest in the country.
what is the cheapest Michelin restaurant tasting menu in Catalonia?
It is Les Moles, in Ulldecano (Carretera de La Sénia, Ulldecona, km.2), about two hours by car from Barcelona, where the Tradition menu, a 5-course tasting menu, costs 43,90€ (49,90€ per night).
Directed by chef Jeroni Castell, with a Michelin star and two Repsol Suns, Les Moles offers innovative Catalan cuisine based on products from the surrounding Terres de l’Ebre. The experience is completed by the space, a restaurant in a former industrial building that also has a biodynamic garden.
Its Tradition menu offers three starters (right now they are cured tuna roe, liver pâté with hazelnuts and raisins and sobrasada croquette) and several main courses and desserts to choose from.
So now you know, if you fancy a gastronomic getaway in the Delta de l’Ebre, we can think of few better options.
