Pixar world
How many joys Pixar has given us in the last decades! With their films we have been amused, thrilled and escaped from reality. Whether we’re more into the Toy Story saga or the adventures of Nemo and company, whether we identify with the emotions of Riley in Inside Out or cry tears with Up, Pixar World is the expo for all of us.
We are facing 3,000m2 of spaces dedicated to the universe of this dream factory, with scenarios that perfectly recreate the colorful and fun worlds of their films. Undoubtedly an ideal activity to enjoy regardless of age, and one of the best plans we can think of to overcome the back to school.
📅 Starting September 26.
📍Westfield La Maquinista Shopping Center. C/ de Potosí, 2.
Les Festes de la Mercè
For many, La Mercè is the most important festival in Barcelona. The city fills up with people, music and all kinds of activities that turn it into an (almost) endless party for a few days. This year there will be many concerts and multiple initiatives for all ages. Artists such as Judit Neddermann, La Ludwig Band, Ginestà, Álvaro de Luna, Stay Homas and Oques Grasses, among many others, will perform; and there will be iconic activities such as the Piromusical and cultural activities such as the Setmana del Llibre en Català.
📅 From September 20 to 24.
📍Various spaces in the city.
Bubble Planet
Bubble Planet brings us an immersive space where the protagonists are the bubbles and the interaction we can have with them. Different rooms to play, touch, have fun and take selfies with them, as well as enjoy a virtual reality experience and the icing on the cake: a huge pool with thousands of balls where the little ones have a great time and the grown-ups bring out the little one in them.
Another perfect plan to bring a few smiles to those boys and girls who are in a bad mood after school vacations.
📅 All month (from Wednesday to Sunday, also on Tuesday 24, the day of La Mercè).
📍 Espacio Inmersa. Carrer de Llull, 119.
Dalí Challenge
A new way of enjoying Salvador Dalí is installed near the Portal de l’Àngel. It is an artistic, immersive and educational experience that will make us travel chronologically through the work of the genius of Figueres, discover his innovations, put in value the life of Gala and get fully into his paintings with augmented reality and virtual reality. A great plan whether we love the painter as if we hardly know him.

💸 From €9.50.
BAM – Barcelona Acció Musical
BAM -also known as Barcelona Acció Musical- is a musical initiative, or rather a festival in itself within La Mercè. Its purpose is to discover emerging talents of all kinds of music from Catalonia and the world. Based on the play by Àngel Guimera, this revival of Mar i Cel will be the last chance to be moved by the impossible love story of Blanca and Saïd and to sing at the top of one’s lungs to songs like Himne dels pirates or Per què he plorat?, which are already part of the sentimental memory of several generations of Catalans.
