Titanic: The Official Exhibition – The Voyage Continues (from 17 April)
The official exhibition of the Titanic opens this month in Barcelona. It will give us the chance to feel like passengers and crew of the famous ship. This is possible thanks to the recreation of the ship’s rooms, a collection of 200 original objects an immersive film that recreates the sinking caused by the iceberg and a virtual reality activity that makes us walk through the corners.

Sant Jordi 2025 (April 23)
A tradition in which Barcelona is filled with stalls of books and roses. Tradition dictates that men give a rose to women and they reciprocate with a book, but that’s long gone and here we all give left and right.

The Sant Jordi International Film Festival of Barcelona is back, full of films that have never been released in our country and revisited classics (such as a tribute to Federico Fellini). Thus, we can enjoy films from all continents and great filmmakers such as Michel Hazanavicius, Belén Funes, Gracia Querejeta or Ken Scott. In addition, the most mythomaniacs will have an appointment with the stars. The most brilliant, Ralph Fiennes: the great British actor who will receive the honorary award. The Teatre Poliorama hosts Les Mares, a play that pays tribute to a generation of women who lived through the hard post-war years. Impact! Barcelona Independent Film Festival ( until 13 April)
From March 24 to April 13, Impacte! Film and Human Rights Festival of Catalonia celebrates its fifth edition with 45 films that focus on issues such as the rise of the extreme right, Palestine, Iran, migration, feminism and LGTBIQ+ rights. The opening will be in charge of Separats, by Errol Morris, and among the screenings are the new work by Amos Gitai, the directorial debut of Eduard Fernández and the preview of the documentary Pirineus .Full program here.

MOSTRA is an alternative to the big electronic music festivals. It brings together independent and small format artists and is committed to local talent, inclusion and diversity. Barnasants 2025 (all month)
Barnasants returns to remind us that auteur music is something more: it is poetry, memory and emotion in its purest form. This festival, which has been defending song as a tool of expression and resistance for years, brings us in April big names such as Miquel Pujadó (April 5) or María del Mar Bonet (April 11), among others.

San Miguel Biergarten (from April 25)
German beer and gastronomy, music… all this is what brings the 12th edition of one of the most fun events in Barcelona. All combined with workshops to learn how to be a master brewer who pulls beers like no one else, or discover nuances of flavor between different varieties of beer.

Nicolas Ray’s cycle at the Fimoteca
Nicholas Ray is one of the great masters of classic Hollywood, a creator who has given us masterpieces such as Johhny Guitar or Rebel Without a Cause. The “Filmo” dedicates this April a great tribute to him, projecting in different sessions his best known works and others that may not sound so much but are guaranteed success, because they also have in their cast with stars like Humphrey Bogart or John Wayne.
