Visit Horta de Sant Joan, elected the most beautiful village of Catalonia (whenever you want)
Horta de Sant Joan is an inland village that not only conquered the heart of the Malaga painter Pablo Picasso, but National Geographic, the prestigious travel magazine, also considers it the most beautiful rural village in Catalonia and the fifth in all of Spain.
The village is located on top of a small hill in Terra Alta, in Tarragona, surrounded by vineyards, almond and olive trees. That is why, whichever way you look at it, its natural charm captures you from the first minute.
Sunbathe or dive into one of these beautiful beaches (all summer long).
The most daring may have already taken their first dip of the year. Others of us just dare to sit on the sand and enjoy the scenery (and so on until July arrives, at least). But whatever your level of daring, there’s nothing to stop you from taking in the views from one of these 7 paradisiacal islands.
