Almost opposite Rocambolesc, like a duel of ice cream titans. This is how Albert Adrià, leader of the starry Enigma y one of the most important chefs in the country his new ice cream parlor in the heart of Barcelona’s Rambla.
Gelato Collection, the chef’s new gourmet ice cream parlor, opens in a corner of the premises that Torrons Vicens, the chef’s collaborating partner at the crazy nougat design has in the mythical promenade. In addition to Torrons Vicens, the ice cream parlor opens with another high level partner, the pastry chef Alfredo Manchado, Pastry Chef Revelation Madrid Fusion 2020 and recognized sweet chef in the hospitality industry.
The new proposal offers 19 references between ice creams and sorbets that will change with the seasons, but will be divided into four fixed categories: : traditional (green pistachio, toasted pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, Agramunt nougat…), signature (raspberry with roses and lychee, green ‘thai’ mango…) or seasonal (tender almond, cherry, apricot, kiwi and lime).
The last striking category is that of alcoholic ice creams, which will include flavors such as piña colada or margarita, both of which contain 4.5% alcohol.
The ice cream parlor, on the Ramblas, 136 and will open every day from 16:00 to 22:00 every day.
