Demasié’s cinnamon rolls
It’s no secret that we love this place. There are many reasons to go to Demasié, but the crown jewel is undoubtedly their cinnamon rolls. I wouldn’t know which one to choose. The best thing to do is to try them all.

The croissant of the Canal Bakery
In October last year, the award for Best Butter Croissant in Spain was presented to this bakery. There must be a reason. Toni Vera, the person in charge, won this title once again, and that makes two. He already won it in 2016. Now it’s your turn to try it.

Forn Mistral’s coke
This is one of the classics, we did not discover anything new, but it could not be left out of the list . And if we had to choose what to go with among their sweet offerings, I’d go with the coke. Well, and their mini chocolate croissants that are eaten like pipes.
Delacrem ice cream

Possibly the best ice cream in Barcelona. Or at least hold an important position in the list . The queues in summer to buy an ice cream in one of its shops can be desperate but they are worth it. And if you’ve already tried them, here’s our list of the best ice cream parlors in Barcelona.

Foix fritters from Sarrià
Located at the top of the city, Foix is another epicenter of the sweet. In 1886 it opened its doors backed by a master pastry chef, Josep Foix Ribera. A project that has been in existence for more than 125 years and that continues to show us that everything they touch is sweet art: panettone, panellets, brioche..
Major de Sarrià, 57
Brunells, one of the best croissants in the city
Although we have just finished the cinnamon roll, it is time to get back to work, again, very close. Three places (yes, again) away from Demasié is Brunells, another sweet temple of the city. The bakery is another two-hundred-year-old classic that recently reopened after a time in the doldrums, winning the award for best croissant in town right away.
Its renovation includes a cafeteria reminiscent of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Sitting at their tables one can taste the traditional sweets that are made and see through a glass case how those award-winning croissants come out of the same oven that has been working for two centuries.
