anatomia d’un desig’, homage to Picasso at CASA SEAT
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pablo Picasso‘ s death ,Fèlix Pons stages an adaptation of the play Le Désir attrapé par la queue of the great Malaga-born artist in his lesser-known facet, that of playwright. A text of surrealist aesthetics that, in one of the darkest moments of World War II, was a cry of freedom, resistance and vindication of the poetic act.
At Anatomy of a desire, 2 actors and 1 musician lead a performative conference that reviews the main facts, characters and influences present in the work, traveling to the most personal and artistic moment of Picasso and the enigmatic figure of Dora Maar, surrealist painter and photographer with whom he had an intense relationship. A great theater plan that can be accompanied by a gastronomic experience in the CASA SEAT restaurantat the end of the event.
